Seems I haven't posted Rosette 5 here yet? It's all done, & #6 is nearly done, so here is #5... Also, here they are altogether, so far...

Another bug has bit it seems, lol! We found a lovely church to join, & I am now going to a needlework group there on Friday mornings! Love it, have met some very special ladies there! Most are knitters, & a couple are sock knitters, & I seem to be fast becoming one also! I am on the second sock of my second pair now, & am fast building a stash to make more, lol! I think I am in love! Yes, I still love my quilting, but now I am trying to figure how to spend time in both worlds! Love it all! Here is my first pair, & the first sock of the second pair. The second one will soon be done! I did the first pair pretty plain & simple, now I am getting more comfortable with knitting again & am playing with more & different stitches, as the second pair sock shows! Loving every minute of it!... Guess I only have single sock pics, so here they are...

Well Rosette 4 from the New Hexagon - Millefiori Quilt Along, is on my design wall! Pieces all glue basted & ready for EPP stitching! Not sure about the little butterfly diamonds, but will see how I like them as my stitching progresses up to them! Love this one otherwise, & it is so different from the first three, which is good!... Now I can sit & stitch some more, yeah!...

Now I am back working on my other Millefiori design, in the La Paz group! I had this center done & am adding a bit more to it now. This round is stars & am loving it! This is the first rosette, which stops at this point. Not sure I want to, & make it bigger, to use as another size in this one, but think I will work on some more centers, then decide later... Anyway, love the colors, & love how it's looking!

Now we found a free program to do a mock up of our quilt design, to see how all these rosettes look together! Just two on mine, so far, with #3 nearing completion! I like this, fun to see how all that stitching I have been doing, is coming together! Enjoy!... Also added a pic of rosette 3, so far.. Love how all this is turning out!

Rosette 3 has begun, love it so far! Pics never do them justice, but we still have to share them, right, lol! I am so addicted to this project & my other new one, that I am having a hard time getting anything else around the house now, go figure, right! Anyway, here is the start of number 3 & the next row is in the works! Love all the colors in this one, although the black is a bear to hand stitch! Not too much more to go on this one, yeah!...

I have discovered a second Millefiori Quilt project! Love this book & the smaller size of these! Had to start on this one also & here is my first center! I have this quilting bug bad right now, as it's all I want to do, lol! Feels good though, just hope I can keep it going & get alot done! This center measures 7.5 inches. Love this size! Forgot to mention about the other quilt in previous pics, the first rosette measures 35in across, & the second one measures 37in across, so nice to have these in two sizes to work on now!

My fascination with the Millefiori Quilt-Along continues! I can't seem to stop stitching on it, which is a good thing I guess, lol! Working on round 3 of the second one now, & love how it is all coming together! Here is a pic of round 2 completed, laying on a lovely tile counter top in my recently remodeled kitchen! I could not have imagined how much fun EPP & hexies could be! I was growing tired of my little GFG flowers project & looking for something else to keep my attention. Then I found the new book, The New Hexagon, then a group was started on facebook for this project & so the fun has begun! I plan to come back with another pic, once I have this one altogether!

A new quilting book caught my attention awhile back! It's title "The New Hexagon". Shorty there after, I saw a post on Facebook, about this book, & a new quilt along starting in a group on there! So, excited, I joined the group! Seems a quilt is being designed as we make it, month by month! This one is a Millefiori quilt & I am loving it! It's all done by using the English Paper Piecing method, all by hand, mind you! I am a bit slow on hand quilting, but am bound & determined to do this one, no matter how long it takes me! Love, love, love it, & the challenge! Just what I needed in my quilting right now, & it came along at just the right time! So, here is my first rosette, finally finished, as of late last night & I am already, slowing, working on building the second one! Can you tell I am hooked on these, I think so, lol!....
